Just Like Alcohol, the States That Legalize Marijuana Do Not Believe It Is a Gateway Drug
Do you want to know how much medical marijuana costs?
And how much revenue it makes. Can you say economic growth?
The entrepreneurs are coming and they have the money to do the startup, branding, and social media marketing. The Californian’s have lots of money. They could see the laws were better in Colorado. They set up camp and helped push the industry to where it is today. The Californian’s, Coloradan’s, Seattleites, will all be coming to your state.
Because that’s how the business model works.
They have made big money and will set up marijuana chain stores. That’s right, like seven-eleven. Don’t worry. There is still going to be room for the mom and pop store. Just like mom and pops still exist in liquor stores and sandwich shops. No, this isn’t reefer madness but it will feel like it at first.
This information is for future marijuana states that are currently going to have things at the top of the ballot for voters to get started on. Let’s start with medical marijuana or recreational pot or both. Why will voters get a choice, because it brings in revenue and economic growth.
Not only will neighboring states see what your doing but the fact is some may even move to your state to live and make an income in this new trend of medical marijuana and recreational pot. Not just the citizens of states nearby that have laws and regulations that still make marijuana illegal but potentially from all over the world. Even the corporations may move to your state if they like your laws.
By the way, CBD oils are not a trend. They are here to stay and growth is not the word for CBD oil. I think CBD oils have about two more decades of growth. Think of CBD oils as the Tupperware and Pepsi of marijuana.
This is just a number of speculations because even in Colorado the numbers cannot be determined only through voter registration or a census. If ten percent of four states move to one other specific state, you will see a shortage of real estate for rent/lease and for sale.
Because all these newly moved marijuana people will need pillows and store fronts and grow facilities. The days of prohibition are coming to an end.
Not only will the marijuana people be spending on real estate and rent, but at the gas station, grocery store, restaurant, bar, garden supply store, new green houses, new construction, remodels, etc., etc., etc. The spending and the revenue go on and on. The numbers increase and increase. Below are files from some of my favorite newspapers that have articles about what I have just written.
Medical marijuana is becoming painfully blunt for the politician’s that don’t want marijuana. Why? Because the tax revenue makes a politician’s job much easier. In Colorado at recreational marijuana stores and medical marijuana dispensaries, the tax on marijuana products can be as high as forty percent out the door. Do the math. Do you know of anything else in the USA that gets a forty percent tax?
